If you’re a follower of Beach Brains, you’ll know they love a bit of a moody texture and staggered layers. It’s like they see the world in sepia – white is never white and true black is rarely seen in their collections, giving it this kind of nostalgic gloss that is pure eye candy.
Their latest drop Washed Up which is available right now, continues down that creative stream, while refining it with cuts that allow a little space to breath without going near that comically baggy vibe that has been doing the rounds over the past couple of seasons.
The collection feels like it was made to be layered, with colours – browns, greys and off-whites – sinking into each other, outside of this seasonal orange which seems bold when compared to the rest of the collection, but actually is tonally pretty balanced.
As you can probably tell, we’re pretty fucking into it. Check out some shots below, but definitely head to their website where you can get a sense for the full drop. And don’t miss their NZFW ’26 show if you’re in the neighbourhood!
