Colour meets classics.

One of the coolest things about a Vans collab is seeing the iconography of other labels all over the silhouettes thgat we’ve come to love. It’s like a fresh coat of paint on your dream house – you’re still in the same spot you love, just coming at it with a renewed energy. That’s what we’re picking up with the Vans x BAPE collab which is built on the back of a string of previous capsules.

Straying from Vans’ slip-on styles, the drop focuses on two enduring silhouettes: the Old Skool and the Sk8-Mid. The Old Skool showcases BAPE’s renowned camouflage print in various colors on the quarter panels, along with a vulcanised rubber rendition of BAPE’s signature Shark symbol on the forefoot. The Sk8-Mid highlights the green camouflage pattern on the canvas, while both styles reimagine Vans’ classic Sidestripe with the inclusion of BAPE’s STA logo.
