Calvin Klein is putting comfort and sustainability at the forefront of their new ‘Reconsidered Comfort’ collection, treating your skin (and the environment) with the care it deserves. Made with ultra-soft terry and recycled materials, the new underwear and dual loungewear range sees the apparel titan contribute an excess of wealth to the circular textile economy. We’re not exaggerating, the clothing giant is using the newest in technology to ensure that the integration of materials like up cycled cotton, material textiles, wood pulp and more all find a loving new home instead of adding to global waste.
To give you a bit of info about the futuristic tech, TENCEL™ fibres are found in some of the sleekest collections around the world, and are the result of environmentally responsible processes from natural raw material wood. They’re sourced by upcycling cotton scraps from garment production and transforming them into cotton pulp, with a proportion of the above being added to wood pulp and consequently creating new virgin TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres (which make up the thrilling new pieces below, be sure to swipe across through for a look at the different colours and styles).
A truly invigorating campaign, naturally Calvin Klein needed to tap some proper beauties to help capture the vision, and they’ve more than hit the mark with Kaia Gerber, Vinson Fraley and Rina Sawayama, who are all exquisitely shot in the new collection. Feast your eyes on the young talents rocking the new pieces below and get ready for the next era of underwear/loungewear.
