The iconic label have joined in calls for an end to systemic racism.

With protests sparked by the death of George Floyd ongoing around the world, people are looking to companies and brands to support the Black Lives Movement. Calvin Klein, who have been longtime champions of inclusivity and LGBTQI+ rights, have released a statement that clarifies their backing of the BLM movement.

The events of the last weeks, including the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor and the subsequent protests have served as a painful reminder of the racism and structural inequity that exists in America.⠀⠀
We have more and important work to do when it comes to championing a louder voice on human rights issues that affect our associates, our customers and our communities.
Our commitment is to ensure an organization where we support each other in open and honest dialogue, provide resources for further education on issues affecting our teams, practice radical empathy, and use our voice to stand up for what is right.
Calvin Klein will be making a donation to causes that support the fight against racial and social injustice, including the NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund and the ACLU – a small step in recognizing that inequity is unacceptable and action is required.
With the input of our community, we will continue to explore how we can fight systemic racism and injustice and stand in solidarity with the black community.
