Whether you’re game enough to wear them or not, it’s no secret that Crocs are having a bit of a moment right now. Cushioning the feet of some the world’s biggest celebs, Crocs are at the forefront of the comfy clog renaissance- and this soft-footed procession into high-fashion has today been given its second wind.
Marking their second collaboration in as many years, Crocs have teamed up with Aussie musician G FLIP for another run of foamy footwear. Last year’s collection sold out in minutes (presumably when the age of lockdown ‘comfort-dressing’ first peaked), but you can snag the newest collab when it drops exclusively today at Platypus Australia and online (September 15).
Unique to the Crocs and G FLIP line is the addition of a double strap, which somehow gives extra sporty support to what was already that walking-on-a-clog-cloud feel. Elsewhere, G FLIP has designed a stockpile of rainbow, crown and llama Jibbitiz (that’s Croc-slang for ‘charms’), to put a little extra sparkle in your step. Speaking of the drop, G GLIP says the collaboration was “a dream come true.”
“I’ve had this design in my head ever since I started wearing Crocs…Crocs and I have had an incredible journey together so far and now it continues.”
You can shop the Crocs x G FLIP collection from 7:30pm here, or find them at Platypus Australia stores today.
