Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose, speaking at a promotional event for his latest ‘D Rose 5s’ Adidas sneakers, has revealed his desire to collaborate with Kanye West on a future design.
Mixing music with basketball.
“It was great hearing that they signed him (Kanye West) because him, everything he’s doing, him being an icon, his music, him loving fashion and signing with Adidas is just a huge step for us, man,” explained Rose via Slam Magazine.
“I hope I have time to colab with him, that would be pretty cool… I’d probably have to wait on that and get the okay from Adidas after his show comes out,” the injury plagued former NBA MVP continued.
Rose is amongst a host of big name NBA players with their own signature brand of basketball shoes but should his dream collaboration with the A-list rapper ever materialise it would certainly give him an edge on the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant.
