It was no surprise that the queues for Yeezy merchandise at MSG were mind-boggling, stretching many times around the arena floor – and West has supplemented that original success with pop-up shops around the world. Last night, it was announced that 21 more temporary stores would be selling TLOP garments across the world, and two lucky Australian cities happened to be on that list: Sydney and Melbourne.
Exact locations were revealed to be in Bondi and Fitzroy. The pop-ups will remain open for the entire weekend, but reports suggest that there are well over 150 people in queue at each location. Hype, hype, hype.
Sneaker Freaker managed to grab a few snaps of what’s available in Melbourne:
If you’d like any chance of grabbing anything at all from the pop-up stores, we’d suggest heading down now, as the stores have just opened their doors. If you strike out, then we’d suggest refreshing your eBay page. Nevertheless, there’s bound to be plenty of commotion throughout Bondi and Fitzroy today – so head to the addresses below and take it all in. Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian suggested that the TLOP tour would be making its way to Australia in the near future, so keep your fingers crossed that the pop-ups are a precursor for something bigger from Yeezy:
