27 years ago Nike created the Air Max. So since the age of one, I was kicking around town showing off my now “visible air” to all the cats in town. Which was a pure bliss of cushioning on my diminutive soles, because that my friend was a lot of walking!

Who knew I would kick off a sneaker freaker fetish with the Air Max sole. Nike revealing the connection between performance and innovation. Genius. Now fast forward to 2008, I had my first real full time job earning a measly $27k. But somehow I managed to survive on packs of mi goreng and water like some sort of POW, all so I could afford to feel that sweet sensation of walking on clouds once again with their release of the Nike Lularlon sole. I put those bad boys on and instantly memories of the Jetsons came flooding back, hello space age.

So what do these pointless, fake, poor excuses for short stories have in common? Yup you guessed it, nothing…. jokes. Nike has just launched a new feel for an iconic silhouette. Oh how sexy. The Nike Air Max Lunar 1, which by the way is the definitive union of lightweight cushioning and flexibility.
