Dressed in a black suede upper with green and gold accents, the hi-top sneaker also features signature Na-Kel tongue branding that pays homage to the sneaker’s on court history. Formerly a basketball shoe, a sticky rubber outsole for precision grip and a die-cut sock liner (for silky smooth comfort all-over) round out the skate model updates.
According to Na-Kel Smith, the style wasn’t originally intended to hit shelves. “[The Rivalry Hi OG] was originally a gift from adidas. I wore it so much that they asked if I wanted to release it.” Thankfully, they are scheduled for release this weekend and to celebrate adidas has unveiled a short skate video set against Na-Kel Smith’s very own song ‘Go’.
