It’s a collision of local talents when blogger Rachel Tee Tyler steps in front of the lens for our pal Lester Jones.

Lester has been serving up in-depth profiles of Sydney characters on his blog – including yours truly – with a particular emphasis on streetwear and sportswear. With her clean and effortless approach to fashion, it makes perfect sense that Rachel has starred in his latest shoot that has also been featured on Highsnobiety. Since moving to Australia from the Phillipines, Rachel has become one of the country’s most notable style commentators, often flexing with her own powerful looks on Instagram.

Rachel describes her style as “a mix of athletic tomboy and ’90s girl” which means that she’s decked out in some of our own wardrobe staples – Champion sweatpants and Air Max 95s are just two highlights in a look that’s heavy on the burgundy, while more cutting-edge contemporary labels like V Files & Australia’s own Perks & Mini also sneak their way into the shoot with on-trend pastel garments.
