In perhaps what is the most timely and topical shirt of all time, some legend has made a shirt which has seamlessly mashed NSW Premier Mike Baird and BBK grime emcee Skepta together.

Taking the viral opening soundbite from Skepta’s ‘Shutdown’, the shirt reappropriates the lyrics with a picture of the Premier in glorious DIY fashion. Of course, this isn’t the first time the NSW government has been mashed together with Skepta – Yolanda Be Cool delivered their own ‘Shutdown’ remix in response to the lockout laws.

This excellent picture was taken from weekly Kings Cross club night Cakes, and arrives with Skepta’s colossal tour announcement earlier this week. Tickets for those shows go on sale tomorrow, and get your clicking fingers ready because we’re expecting all to sell out within minutes – especially given the warm reception that his album Konnichiwa has received. Moreover, there’s a March against Mike Baird taking place this Sunday, kicking off from 1:30pm at Town Hall in Sydney – make yourselves heard and attend!
