These famous designers were all given the opportunity to redesign the tee in their own unique way and according to Stüssy, the collaboration highlights “Like-minded people that are interested in similar things. An enduring signifier of underground culture four decades in. Past… Present… Future.” It is important also to note that each designer will be donating a large portion of profits made from the sales of the collaboration to an organization or charity of their choice. How awesome is that!
The ‘World Tour’ Collaboration locations on all the shirts aren’t there just for design purposes, they’re there to represent where each designer comes from! London-based designer Martine Rose, NY icon Marc Jacobs, Virgil Abloh, who reps Los Angeles and Tokyo Japan, where Takahiro Miyashita, aka The Soloist, lends his hand to a limited edition design.
