Vans’ latest muse, Sofia Prantera, is fascinated by subcultures.

First channelled into her brand ‘Aries,’ Sofia’s eye for fashion outside the norm has now been expanded to the Vault by Vans, in a collaboration that blends big rave-scene energy with staple sportswear.  

A head-to-toe affair, the newest Vault by Vans capsule boasts a six-shoe spread alongside curated apparel. Featured on every item are pops of colour and prints that more traditional brands might turn their noses at. From fuschia pink to tiger stripes, the collection is more interested in bending fashion rules than following them.

A standout from the vault is the OG Authentic LX, which comes in a colourway inspired by weed. Complete with marijuana leaf patterns and multicoloured laces, the Weed Muted style is a trip in itself, not to mention the kaleidoscopic prints featured on the tie-dye Tiger Muted style. 

Brighter versions of each style are also included in the vault, with equally-bold items like acid-wash tees and checkered shorts helping to accessorise the look. The Aries Vault by Vans capsule will be available from September 12, 2021 at select Vans retailers, and you can find all the items here.
