Fancy wearing some wax pizzas on your feet?

… And by wax pizzas we mean the gluten-free ones that are a tasty treat for your ears: vinyl records. That’s what’s on the menu for Vans’ newest collab which sees them join forces with Japanese brand Wacko Maria whose “music is the trigger of imaginations” philosophy perfectly ties into the creative bones behind everything Vans does.

Over three colourways on the OG Authentic LX – a baby blue, light pink and white – Wacko Maria have incorporated a spinning vinyl repeated pattern that gives the kicks a nostalgic 50s feel. The collection takes inspiration from Wacko Maria founder Atsuhiko Mori’s first venture, a bar called Rock Steady, and is the first of two collabs with Vans that are dropping this year.

The first drop of the Vault by Vans x Wacko Maria collection will be available nationally at select Vault by Vans retailers beginning on March 20, 2021. Check those wax pizzas out below and stay tuned for more information on the second drop releasing in May:
