It feels like we’ve been writing about the “rise” of golf for a few years now, and it still hasn’t peaked. Slowly, it’s been finding nooks within every aspect of culture and blossoming. Statistically, as you read this now, there’s a 98% chance you may be on a golf course or driving range (this has not been fact-checked).
Which brings us to the latest offering from golf’s new-wave pioneers, Walker Golf Things, and pro skater Evan Mock’s company Wahine. Evan, like many of us, has been lured into the world of golf and is now coping with a full-on addiction to the sport.
“I’m excited to introduce the Wahine x Walker collaboration, a limited-edition collection born from the blend of Hawaii and Australia,” Evan says of the collab. “This capsule brings together performance and style in a way that’s one-of-a-kind. Each piece is designed to elevate your game and your look. Unodakine.”
The campaign (pics by the great Arto Saari, video by our guy Liam Wall) was shot on Evan’s home island of Oahu and features Evan, Walker Golf Things’ owner and pro skater Jack Fardell, and Brook Power doing their thing on the course. Naturally, the drop’s vintage-floral themes, which are spread over a shirts, shorts, t-shirt, cap, towel, golf bag, and more, have never looked better.
