Palace and adidas skateboarding are without a doubt a dynamite duo, the pair responsible for some of the freshest sneaker collabs in recent memory. It appears they have no intention of slowing down too, dropping a video teaser for their upcoming collab, centred around French skateboarder Lucas Puig.
The skateboarding superstar has good relations with both brands, joining the Palace roster in 2017 and regularly putting out sneaker creations with adidas skateboarding. So naturally, you can imagine a joint collab between all three would be bomb af to say the least.
The teaser video features a monkey talking on the phone to Lucas (actually it’s just Lucas doing the talking) before the set-to-be-released kicks and their release date of May 22 flash onto the screen. The monkey’s desk also features a pair of the pink and white colourways which look super aesthetic. It’s a cool and quirky teaser that elevates it from a mere teaser to a properly hilarious but artistic snapshot, a balance the brands have essentially perfected over the years.
