Not only that, but he’s celebrating the 15 year anniversary of his undisputed classic debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. Dropping back in February 2003, the album propelled 50 Cent from Queens street rapper to global gangster icon, filled with timeless anthems including ‘Patiently Waiting,’ ‘Many Men’ and ‘Heat.’
Blockbuster singles like ‘In Da Club’ and crossover romance jam ’21 Questions’ still stay on frequent repeat at clubs, while ‘Back Down’ was an assertive missile aimed at Ja Rule – just one of the many high-profile feuds he engaged in over the years which also included Rick Ross, Kanye West & The Game.
His extra-curricular activities include stakes in Vitamin Water and a producer role on smash-hit television series Power, while his G-Unit imprint signed legendary New York hardcore artists including M.O.P and Mobb Deep. Yes, 50 has done a little bit of everything – but all eyes and ears will be in tune to Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ come February.
50 will be landing in Australia for the first time in a decade to play just two shows – February 9 at Parramatta Park in Western Sydney, and February 10 at Melbourne Showgrounds. This will be grand, phenomenal and a nice time. You can find all ticketing info right here, and dive headfirst into 50’s classic album below:
