Following suit of artists like Chance, The Rapper and most recently Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky has released his debut mixtape Live. Love. A$AP. onto streaming services…

The release (or should we say ‘re-release’) comes exactly ten years after the debut mixtape thrust him into the stratosphere in 2011, and we’re feeling just a little bit taken aback by how fast the time went.

Whether you were a fresh high schooler like me and lived by this mixtape or came across Rocky later in life, there’s no denying the debut EP’s effects were felt on a global level, cuts like ‘Peso’ and ‘Purple Swag’ lighting up hip hop fans with their hard hitting lyricism and sonics.

Bear in mind, contemporaries like Tyler, The Creator, Drake and J. Cole all dropped albums that same year, along with GOATs like Kanye West and Lil Wayne, so there was just a little bit of competition for the Harlem-born MC.

But still, it managed to piece through it all, and now it’s back with an amended track listing, with tracks ‘Out Of This World,’ ‘Keep It G’ ft. Chace Infinite & SpaceGhostPurp and ‘Kissin’ Pink’ ft. A$AP Ferg noticeably absent. But still, just being able to hear the 2011 record on services like Spotify instead of a third party site makes it well worth the trade-off.

It’s a good day to be a A$AP Rocky fan, and more specifically, a fan who listened to this album on repeat during the high school grind. Dig into the ten year re-release of Live.Love.A$AP. below. He’s also added a new song on the end titled ‘Sandman’ for your new music Friday. Run it up folks.
