Another reason why Friday is our favourite day of the week…
Amongst all the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be easy to forget what was happening politically beforehand, with the virus taking up a massive chunk of broadcasting space across social and traditional media. But, if you recall back to last year, you’ll remember the climate strikes were attracting record numbers around the world and the country, with hundreds of thousands of Aussies taking to the streets to say no to fossil fuels and yes to renewables.
Now activist group School Strikes For Climate has teamed up with Green Music Australia to host another event that we are predicting will see a mass turnout: Climate Fridays. This week rapper Allday, recent #2 album chart-toppers Cub Sport, the amazing Gretta Ray, Jon Cloher and Barkaa will be performing at the Facebook live event this Friday from 6pm.
