It’s no secret the cotton-slingin’ team behind Altamunted don’t mind the odd beer/party/bender/drug-induced rager, and (somehow) they’ve convinced The Lansdowne to let them take over both levels of the pub on the Sunday of the Labour Day long weekend in September for another installment of Festival Of Doom.
The event promises to cater to everyone with some of Sydney’s best bands reppin’ the live music scene upstairs including alt/rock force Rackett, garage fuzz lords Crocodylus, indie funksters Papaya Tree, psychedelic tripsters Kimono Drag Queens and loads more. You can also count on plenty Altamunted garm getting round and no shortage of dancefloor soundtracking from Boy Toy, Lex Deluxe and a whole bunch of Sydney DJs.
Earlybird tickets are on sale now for a measly $20 (that’s a lot of music for a redback) and we’re expecting this one to sell out (tickets here), and hit the Facebook event page for more updates on Altamunted’s Festival Of Doom.
