Angus & Julia Stone – Self Titled

As you know, once again, siblings Angus and Julia Stone are the hottest property on the market once again. After never intending to play music together again after an international tour in 2011, they are back.

Why did they split? Who cares. They are back and thats all that matters. All I know is Angus believes the time apart was a positive “I think that’s what the time apart was for, – out of the blue, getting the call to come back together.” Who got them back together and made them write as one, you ask? None other than Rick Rubin, just the guy who started Def Jam Records, produced songs with numerous artists such: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jay-Z, Kanye West & Jake Bugg, just to name drop a few of many.

The new self titled album comes as a warm embrace to loyal fans and introduces a new found love for first timers. The album graces Angus’s signature of a pulsing muted guitar joined with stomping, swinging drums and walking baseline accompanying Julias original melodic story telling vocals. Hope you enjoy your new found crush.
