Veteran producer/DJ Anna Lunoe is back on the airwaves this Thursday, unleashing her latest single while announcing her new EP…

Titled ‘Like Me’, the latest offering from the multi-talented artist sees her continue down the rabbit hole of acid-infused fantasy that defined recent singles ‘Back Seat’ ft. Genesis Owusu and the most recent ‘Double Dip’, while striking a distinct balance between laid-back groove and four-to-the-four thumper.

The collage of soundscapes is comprised of euphoric synths, distorted vocals and various electronic inflections, all of which collide for an overwhelming sense of euphoria. Together, the various layers makes that fiery hook all the more impactful, Lunoe flexing her mastery of texture as she crafts a multi-dimensional groove.

It seems it’s a creation that has gone through numerous incarnations, with Lunoe explaining, “‘Like Me’ started late 2020 as a little jam loop with Jack Glass (of Bag Raiders) during lockdown when our ears needed a break from something else! We were originally making a vibey chord driven tune but the track sonics took a turn when reconnected with my DJ side over NYE ’22 and decided to take it heavier and weirder!”

Speaking on the early reception to the new tune overseas, the ‘Double Dip’ producer adds, “‘I was blown away when I played it 2 months later on the USA tour in March this year – people instantly reacted to it and it felt like perfectly encapsulated the anticipation, love and longing I feel for life, clubbing and connection during this weird moment in time.”

Along with the new single, Lunoe has also announced her forthcoming EP Saturday Love, which lands on next month via NLV records. Considering ‘Like Me’ continues the hot streak she’s been on as of late, we’re guessing the record will show her at her most explosive when it’s released on July 29th.
