‘Powder’ is the latest release from the group who’ve racked up more notches to their belt than [insert some sort of belt-notching metaphor] including an ARIA, a 2nd place in the Hottest 100, millions of streams and appearances at every major Aus fezzy.

The track is this bombastic electro-pop number that is obviously written with a tongue planted firmly in cheek. But, as with all Art vs Science tracks, you shouldn’t let the light-hearted nature of the subject or lyrics underscore the fact that the tune is masterfully crafted from start to finish.

The accompanying video is an AI-generated, snow-filled romp that encapsulates the bouncy energy of the track perfectly. Made by Dan Mac and Alex Roberts, who directed the band’s iconic videos for ‘Parlez Vous Francais?’ and ‘Magic Fountain’, the visuals are a further example of the creative exploration that these guys champion.
