It’s nearly impossible to capture the energy of travelling around Europe, scrimping on everything so you have enough money for cover charges at clubs, and fuelling yourself with booze. If you know, you know. And, it seems with their latest party banger ‘give urself 2 me’, Cat & Calmell are all too familiar with that feeling.

The track sees their never failing vocals backed by a powerfully dancey beat, complete with swirling drops and punchy hyperpop instrumentation. It’s the kind of track you’d see at the top of the charts in the late 90s, like the Vengaboys mixed with Ace of Base but more interesting; a simultaneously deep and shallow tune.

“We really wanted to have fun and let our hair down for this new era,” says Cat & Calmell. “After such a heavy project last year, ‘give urself 2 me’ is a symbol of us growing up and wanting to be HOT young women and party after ALL the heavy shit.”

‘give urself 2 me’ also coincides with the announcement of Cat & Calmell’s debut UK and Euro shows where they’ll be bringing the party for their first UK and European shows in May, playing The Great Escape in Brighton, shows in Glasgow, Dublin and a headline show in Paris.
