You’re going to be hearing a lot from RÜFÜS DU SOL in the coming weeks.

With today’s announcement that Inhale / Exhale – the follow-up to their Grammy-winning 2021 album Surrender – is coming in October 11th, can we expect a steady drip feed of music and maybe even some tour announcements? Either way, today we have a juicy new single from the Aussie trio in the form of ‘Break My Love’.

The track unshockingly features Tyrone Lindqvist silky vocals which hover in all their ethereal glory above a pulsating bassline with the group’s masterful handling of tension on full display as we are sucked into moody trenches before feeling euphoric releases.

It comes with a clip, directed by Katzki, that is somewhat reminiscent of the Beastie Boys’ ‘Sabotage’ visuals – here the trio don fake outfits and engage in sophisticated seeming acts of espionage.

“Break My Love” arrives ahead of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s standalone live show this year, headlining Portola Festival in San Francisco on September 28. RÜFÜS DU SOL will return to festival stages next year as the only electronic headliner on all three South American editions of Lollapalooza 2025.
