Their new single, ‘How to Kill Houseplants,’ is an absolute gut punch—wrapped in shimmery guitars and the kind of soaring indie hooks that make you want to cry and dance at the same time. Classic Spacey Jane.

Caleb Harper lays it all out, wrestling with the slow, painful demise of a relationship. “I feel awful and I want to save this thing and I don’t know how to do it,” he admits. The metaphor? A doomed houseplant. “I should know how to do this by now, but I don’t—I’ve killed 35 creeping ivies.” Relatable.

And because Spacey Jane can’t drop an album without immediately hitting the road, they’re doing just that. The If That Makes Sense tour kicks off in Wellington before zigzagging through NZ and Australia, with support from Phoebe Go and The Moving Stills. Four massive hometown shows in Fremantle? You better believe it.
