Daddy’s back…

Backing it up his revered Splendour in the Grass set from earlier this year, Daddy Flume had just a bit of pressure on him to bring out the big guns when he took to the stage last night to perform to the hometown crowd at Glenworth Valley. But never fear, as the Northern Beaches producer has mastered the art of the festival set, as evidenced by his past appearances at Splendour, Listen Out, Spilt Milk, Field Day, Coachella (you get the picture).

Armed with his latest album Palaces, along with crowd favourites from his 2018 mixtape Hi, This is Flume, 2016’s Skin and his 2012 self-titled debut, he somehow managed to tick every box into a one hour slot. But when you add the magic of the Lost Paradise crowd, Glenworth Valley and the Arcadia stage into the mix, it was something special.

The energy felt more like a sweaty club than a massive festival stage, with every person in the audience seemingly having a connection to the artist who has soundtracked so much of our lives.
