Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers cannot be stopped.
The Canberrans, who are only an album into their career, continue to tick off milestones at a steady pace; amassing millions of streams, playing fezzys all over the country, and, as of next week, they can add touring with one of the most iconic bands of all time to that list.
But before we get into that, we gotta talk about ‘Balcony’. Their latest track feels like a collage of everything we love about TJ&TJT—from the brattish verses to the gloomy undertones in the chorus, and an energy that you know will be cranked to 11 when it’s performed live.
“BALCONY IS FOR WHEN YOU’RE FEELING CHEEKY AND WANT TO KISS SOMEONE ON THE FACE AND GET KICKED OUT OF A BAR!!! CHAOS!!!!!” shouts the band.
The clip, which was directed by Nick Sullivan, is this gritty snapshot of a party that hones in on those times when you’re lost in your own head in a crowd of people.

Next month, they hit the US for arena dates with Pearl Jam (yes, again—Eddie Vedder even jumped on stage to sing their praises) plus headline shows in New York, LA and Toronto.
