Zac Bryan has a huge 12 months… featuring a huge tour across America, dropping the Boys Of Faith EP, a video starring Matthew McConaughey, and even inviting the “Hawk Tuah” girl on stage…

In the midst of all this activity, Bryan found time to put together a new 19-song album. The Great American Bar Scene features his recent singles, the transcendent ‘Pink Skies’ and the Noeline Hoffman collaboration ‘Purple Gas’. The album also boasts contributions from big names like Bruce Springsteen, who recently performed with Bryan in Brooklyn. Springsteen features on the ‘I’m On Fire’-esque ‘Sandpaper’, which Bryan has been performing live lately.

John Mayer shows up on ‘Better Days’, while fellow Oklahoman John Moreland is featured on ‘Memphis; The Blues’. On ‘Bass Boat’, Bryan’s close friend Morgan Meinhart, who sang on the 2022 triple album American Heartbreak, lends some uncredited backing vocals. “I always knew this song Zach wrote was special,” Mayer wrote on Instagram. “I had no idea how beautiful, powerful, and deep an album it would be a part of. I’m stunned.”

As with all of Zach Bryan’s albums, The Great American Bar Scene offers a lot to take in. The album features 19 tracks, including 18 songs and a poem – there’s plenty to sink your teeth into this weekend!

Leading up to the release, Bryan chose 21 of his favourite bars across the U.S. and Canada where fans could get an early listen to tracks from the album.

Buy/stream The Great American Bar Scene here and stay tuned for a double vinyl coming October 10th.
