A night to remember.

Rapper Sheck Wes recently lit up audiences on his first Australian tour over the NYE period, and of course, the highlight was his inescapable single ‘Mo Bamba.’

It was one of 2018’s biggest breakout rap hits, with its elongated hook inciting sing-a-longs and mosh pits all across the globe. But just in case you haven’t heard ‘Mo Bamba’ enough times, one Australian club will spend one beautiful evening playing the track for five hours in a row.

The institution in question is TBC Club in Brisbane, who set up the Facebook event ‘Mo Bamba on Repear for 5 Hours‘ – promising that if they got 5000 responses, they would actually make it happen. Overnight, the event hit that number, and now it looks like we’ll be hearing ‘Mo Bamba’ for a whole evening on Friday, February 8. In fact, they’ve even made commemorative shirts for those who survive the event, available here. Entry to the night is free.

If you don’t mind a little bit of Sheck Wes on repeat, head down to TBC Club – just make sure you learn all the lyrics beforehand, or else it might get a little awkward:
