We have our first taste of music from one of the most anticipated remakes in recent history.

When news broke that Disney would be doing a live action remake of their 1994 animated blockbuster The Lion King, it was a little hard to process. On one hand, you’re hoping they don’t ruin one of your most treasured childhood memories, but on the other hand, you get to relive the classic film with a star-studded roster of acting and singing talents.

Today, we get the first glimpse of the music which we have to say is pushing us further into that excited category, with Beyonce (who plays Nala) and Donald Glover (who plays Simba) duetting Elton John’s ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ from the original film’s soundtrack. Check it out in the teaser below and try not to be super excited about it.

The film will hit cinemas in Australia on July 19th.
