Bjork gives you one more reason to wish you were in New York right now, performing a surprise DJ set as part of Tri Angle Records fifth birthday. Just your casual mix of Brandy, Jeremih, Kate Bush, Death Grips and some Chilean flutes.

In a sequinned veil, and in the basement of a bank – part of Red Bull’s month-long New York Festival – the Icelandic artist dropped a mix that included some of her favourite artists, vocalists and beatmakers of the past year. Having worked on her latest album, the outsider-break-up-inspired Vulnicura, with producers like Arca, who lately worked on the Yeezus album and British producer and mulit-instrumentalist The Haxan Cloak, Bjork steps entirely into an experimental electronica realm that she’s been pushing. Releasing the full set via Soundcloud she refers to the mix as a ‘tune-tinder’ – whatever that means. Swipe right below.

i would like to wish tri angle label an incredibly sublime birthday and thank for having been invited to dj at their party . couldnt possibly been more honoured than to play in that company !!! the mix i played was my present to them : merging together some of my fav beats last year with some of my fav vocalists doing some of their best songs :
