Some people were very, very skeptical when Blink 182 decided to continue without OG member Tom DeLonge – and rightly so. Who would dare disrupt the Holy Trinity of pop-punk lords that had a song called ‘Fuck A Dog’?

Some time later after DeLonge’s departure, moody emo bro Matt Skiba – known for his dark humour as the premier vocalist of Alkaline Trio – was welcomed into the fold. Earlier this year, the new Blink 182 dropped their debut single ‘Bored to Death‘, and surprised everybody when it actually didn’t suck. Now, they’ve unleashed another single from their forthcoming album titled ‘Rabbit Hole’, and things are looking up once again.

‘Rabbit Hole’ delivers everything you love about Blink 182 – lyrics telling people to shut up, sing-a-long moments, and drums fast enough to incite a circle pit. We’re not sure if we prefer this to the other material from either Blink 182 or Alkaline Trio, but it’s a good start! If you close your eyes, you can visualise the baggy Hurley shorts and teenage angst. Listen to ‘Rabbit Hole’ below, while the album California is arricing extremely soon on July 1.
