It’s a prank.
Well, it’s a joke. Partnering with American dining franchise Buffalo Wild Wings, legendary hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony appear to have undertaken a pretty serious rebrand in a mockumentary style ad for boneless wings. Apparently after trying Buffalo Wild Wings’ new boneless wings, select Bone Thugs members experience an identity/mid-life crisis and vote on changing the group’s name to Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony.
“Try the boneless wings Layzie!” Despite some initial pushback, he eventually tries the wings and while admitting they’re pretty good, they’re not quite “change-your-name good”. The fact that boneless wings are just trash nuggets seems to go unchecked throughout the whole ordeal and quite frankly, we applaud Layzie Bone for resisting the name change altogether.
