Bruce Springsteen is a man that needs no introduction. Having released his first album in 1975, Springsteen is still somehow touring across the world with a live show that has been repeatedly praised as both engaging and essential. Now, the rock legend has announced that he’ll be heading Down Under for an extensive trip with the E Street Band, taking over the country’s biggest stadiums over January and February 2017. It’s clear that Springsteen and co. have not only exceeded the hype, but redefined it – selling 2 million tickets to live shows in 2016 alone.
For select Australian shows, rock favourites Jet will be reforming while others will feature guitar legend Diesel. And just to prove that this gig isn’t just for cool mums and cool dads, the entire tour will be All Ages – evidence of Springsteen’s timeless appeal.
