No big deal.

It’s a long way from Byron Bay to Berlin, but for electronic five-piece Parcels, the drastic move is paying big dividends.

Having caught the ears of Parisian label Kitsuné after packing their bags, Parcels dropped their debut EP Hideout in January, and are now continuing their friendship with the French by unveiling a collaboration with the robot overlords themselves, Daft Punk. No big deal.

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel Homem Christo first caught wing of Parcels at a club in 2016, and the relationship has flourished into Parcels’ new single, ‘Overnight.’ Produced and co-written by Daft Punk in a “secret location” in Paris, it’s full of groove, funk and sparkly pop sensibilities that’s reminiscent of the legendary production duo. We have no doubt that Daft Punk’s golden touches on this new single will keep the momentum rolling as Parcels’ international presence grows, with the group set to grace Glastonbury and Paléo this year.

Get familiar with Parcels and ‘Overnight’ below, and be prepared to be hearing plenty more from the five-piece:
