American songstress Cat Power will be playing as part of the Zoo Twilights series next year.

Returning to Australia for the first time since 2016, songwriter and owner of one of the best voices in the world (no bias here) Chan Marshall, AKA Cat Power, will be taking the stage at Melbourne Zoo in January 2019. The concert is part of the ‘Zoo Twilights’ run of events that will be taking place from 25th of January to the 19th of March.

With all proceeds going towards efforts to fight of extinction of animals like the bandicoot, you can literally go and watch a Cat protect a marsupial which is about as unique experience as you’re going to come by. But enough dad jokes, head here to register for tickets, with pre-sale available from Wednesday October 24th at 8am, which is also the day that you will have access to the exact date of Cat Power’s performance.
