At the young age of 25, Chance the Rapper became the recipient of an honorary doctorate.
The Chicago native announced the milestone via his Instagram. He was awarded the prestigious title from Dillard University, where he also gave the commencement speech for the graduating class of 2018.
The Blessings rapper is widely known for his philanthropic nature. He plays an active role in the Chicago youth program, SocialWorks, and has donated a total of $1 million to the Chicago Public Schools Foundation.
