The eversmooth rapper delivers a fittingly cool clip for his latest single ‘Jet Black.’

Just from listening to US wordsmith Channel Tres, you get the idea that his live shows are going to be a lot of fun. Having confirmed he’d be heading over for Spilt Milk Festival, the heavily electro-backed rapper has just announced sideshows around the country and gifted us a brand new video for ‘Jet Black,’ the second clip from his debut, self-titled EP.

Directed by Anthony Sylvester, the video follows Channel Tres as he cruises around his hometown of Compton, with his surrounding turning into mini one-man raves. Playing with colours and lighting gives the clip a surreal and somehow nostalgic feeling, as we are absorbed by the synthy beats and crsip flow of the track.

Channel Tres EP is due out July 27th which should give us plenty of time to get the lyrics down before he hits Australian shores for the first time in November, with presale tickets on sale from now until tomorrow at 11:00am (info here).
