Big news for beard and beats lovers across Australia, which the announcement that Melbourne-raised singer/producer Chet Faker will be returning home to play a handful of shows in some of the countries’ most iconic venues. Dropping a new single ‘Bend’ on triple J with his trademark laid back drawl and some choppy electronic production behind he made the announcement that tickets to the shows – including Sydney Opera House, Brisbane’s Riverstage and Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl will be available from June 25th.

Chet Faker catapulted into an international spotlight with his debut album ‘Built on Glass’  that launched a hundred skittering beats’ you couldn’t get out of your head and a few Flume collabs. Set to return to these epic venues – just after a casual set at Glastonbury Festival – Nick Murphy says he’ll be performing rarely heard live songs, including the B-side ‘Bend’, as well as tunes from his LP with an expanded band and special guests.
