A few weeks ago we revealed that Chance The Rapper, Ryan Hemsworth, JME and Lunice were among the musicians celebrating the 2016/2017 transition Down Under, and now another heavy-hitter is joining the party for another NYE festival: Childish Gambino.
It has been revealed that the rapper, actor and comedian will be headlining this year’s edition of Falls Festival. Taking place in Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and the freshly-added Fremantle, Falls Festival is one way to welcome in the new year with style – and with a headliner this large, we’re sure that many are already penning the event into their diaries. The announcement arrives with Gambino’s impending album PHAROS due later this year, which means that he’ll have a slew of new tracks to perform by the time New Year’s rolls around.
In addition to the headliner, Falls Festival have revealed the dates for each location, and have also stated that the full line-up will arrive on Tuesday, August 23. This one’s looking large, and as with every New Year’s artist announcement, we’re expecting Childish Gambino to play a few more shows around the country.
