In what’s sure to be welcome news to those lucky enough to reside in Kiama and South Coast, the oceanside communities are getting a new music, art and wellness festival. Presented by Let’s Go Dancing and Henry Clive, the festival is set to take place at the Showgrounds in Dharawal Country on November 11th.
Hosted by local legend Dom Littrich and set across two stages, the festivities will see the likes of eclectic producer Xavier Rudd, homegrown legends Skegss, Ruby Fields, Tyne-James Organ and more all take to the main stage, while local decks slingers like Ben Gerrans, Groove Society, Sasha Milani and more all throw at the disco stage. Representing on home turf, however, is none other than Big Twisty & The Funknasty, whose funkadelic tunes and live show will make you shake what your… you get the picture.
To set the stage for the festival, however, is a series of workshops and collaborative learning experiences which will help be create clearer pathways for musicians and performers on November 10th. Featuring talks from industry heavyweights like Clearly founder Dom Furber, Frontier/Chugg Music head honcho Michael Chugg and artist manager Aaron Gorges (Space 44/Skeggs & RUBY FIELDS), the event will be a feast of knowledge for anyone keen on making it in the music industry.
