Showcasing female and non-binary Australian talent, The Collective has assembled quite the lineup.

It seems that Sydney’s live music scene is really popping off right now. Despite venues closing down around nearly as often as rug stores on Parramatta Road, it feels likes like artists, venues, and bookers are really rallying around each other to make sure the community still flourishes underneath the grey clouds of the lockout laws.

The Collective’s event this Saturday at The Lansdowne is a great example of the scenes resilience. Celebrating female and non-binary artist the roster features enigmatic duo CLEWS, shed-rockers TOTTY, indie legends The Buoys, post-punks Cry Club, and ‘Grunge Is My Religion’ group Spit Chewy.

“We are so excited to be playing as part of The Collective and with so many amazing bands. As a band, we all agree how important it is to showcase and celebrate the huge amount of female/trans/non-binary talent in the music industry,” The Buoys say.
