Earlier this year, Gypsy Land made its courageous debut in Bali.
The brainchild of creative Kai Sujeta aka @urmumsmydad, Gypsy Land was inspired by bush doofs and included thumping tunes, apocalyptic decorations, a fetish room, a halfpipe, and even a Muay Thai ring. And with its first edition taking off with such success, the Gyspy Land crew have already announced a follow-up event, and it’s arriving in October.
This time around, things are taking a darker twist, with the announcement of a “super spooky Halloween party” on October 27th in Seminyak. They’ve promised a soundtrack of heavy hip-hop headlined by Atlanta rapper UNOTHEACTIVIST, and in a twist that’s creepy enough to be written into any Goosebumps novel, the event is being held in the abandoned kindergarten Sujeta attended 20 years ago.
Tickets are on sale here, and if the first Gypsy Land event is anything to go by, this one is worth flying for. Prepare for your ears and eyeballs to be treated.
