Crocodylus’ surprise new single ‘My Baby’ shows a different side to the garage-rockers.

For many of us, we associate Sydney’s Crocodylus with sweaty mosh pits, hard-hitting rock and roll, and tunes that you’re more likely to shout in the shower rather than walk down the aisle to. However, while the lyrical content probably is something you want to be singing to your one and only – “She’s dead to me,” is sung in the chorus – their new single ‘My Baby’ shows that the lads are more than capable of slowing it down and delivering an emotional punch.

According to drummer Mikel Salvador, the track also has practical uses as well. “We’ve been sitting on this song for a while, but canned it for a bit, until people kept asking for it,” he says. “Always a nice song to play when security warns you that you’re about to be kicked off stage because the crowd is trashing the place.”

You can catch Crocodylus performing the track at their run of festival appearances over the next few months including King Street Crawl, Surry Hills Festival and Festival of Doom – info here.
