Crystal Castles Announce Australian Tour For May 2017
For the first time since 2013.
Music
January 24, 2017

Master of brooding electronica, Crystal Castles will be returning to Australia this May, marking their first shows in the country with singer Edith Francis.

Having last visited Australia as part of Big Day Out 2013, Crystal Castles earned a reputation for their wild live shows, filled with menacing synths, cathartic vocals and a ravenous cult fan base. With original singer Alice Glass having departed the duo in 2014, Crystal Castles kicked on with the addition of Edith Francis – and the new incarnation released the Amnesty (I) album last August, continuing their exploration of all things dark.

Now, Crystal Castles will be playing in New Zealand before hopping over to Australia for four headline shows. We’re sure that older fans will be interested to see how Francis performs onstage, while new fans will be itching to hear Amnesty (I) in the live arena. Pre-sale tickets are available from tomorrow January 25, while they will be on sale to the general public from January 27 right here.
