A celebratory release…

It seemed pretty bleak for the Portland Trail Blazers, positioning in ninth place prior to the NBA restart and having little hope of attaining an NBA title in the 2019-2020 season. However, the Blazers made it their mission, moving heaven and earth to get into the eight and final playoff position to contend for an NBA title. And they’ve done just that, beating out the Memphis Grizzlies over the weekend to swipe the final playoff spot.

Of course, celebrations were had, and the Blazers took time to acknowledge the feat they had accomplished. But perhaps the biggest and most interesting celebration of the achievement came from Point Guard Damian Lilliard, who decided to drop his new EP Live From The Bubble under his rap alter-ego Dame D.O.L.L.A., to celebrate the win.

D.O.L.L.A. invited fans to experience the “Bubble vibes”, posting the EP on his social media pages in the form of three new tracks. It appears that even though the NBA season is going to be stretching well into the summer, Dame has been keeping super busy on the music side, linking up with Raphael Saadiq for his ‘GOAT Spirit’ single earlier this year.

The EP also comes just after Lilliard was chosen as the MVP of the NBA Bubble by unanimous vote, so it’s definitely a good time for the Oakland born 30-year-old. Check out the full EP below.
