Two of Australia’s biggest names in music known as DREAMS deliver an off-the-wall clip for their electro jam ‘No One Defeats Us.’

Let’s face it, no one was expecting chilled-out, stripped-back acoustic tunes from two of the country’s most eccentric music personalities. It was always going to be a journey into a world of weirdness when former Silverchair frontman turned avant-garde solo artist, Daniel Johns connects with pop alien/purveyor of space suits, Luke Steele to create new musical entity DREAMS.

Ending years of speculation and anticipation about an impending collaboration from the two, they dropped electro-pop tune ‘No One Defeats Us’ back in mid-March and as of today the tune has a video accompaniment which has added even more layers of strange to the reputations of the bonafide hitmakers.

The clip sees the two lurking around abandoned train lines and factories armed with baseball bats and a megaphone in an empty dystopian world. Johns wears fur coat with fleshy pieces dangling off it whilst Steele switches between a more reserved white leather trench coat and a studded leather geddup – it’s bold but if anyone has the gusto to pull it off, it’s these two.

DREAMS will be playing Vivid Sydney this year, not to mention Coachella and if the video for ‘No One Defeats Us’ is anything to go by, the shows will no doubt be an experience.
