This sounds large.

It seems like the Australian dance presence is only going more global, and here’s all the evidence you need.

A few weeks back, Hayden James and Golden Features appeared on production credits for Katy Perry’s new record, while Flume also had a hand in Lorde’s highly-anticipated new album Melodrama. Now, it’s been revealed that the Northern Beaches producer has casually cooked up a beat that will be blessed with vocals from the biggest rapper in the world.

As reported by Stoney Roads, a peek at the credits for Vince Staples’ upcoming album Big Fish Theory reveals a track called ‘Yeah Right’ which also features Flume, Kendrick Lamar, SOPHIE and Kučka. Pretty large.

Flume, Vince Staples & Kučka have previously collaborated on ‘Smoke & Retribution,’ while the three were also joined by SOPHIE on a stadium tour of Australia in late 2016. Now, with the fifth and final addition of Kendrick Lamar, we can expect that the results will be excellent.

Big Fish Theory drops on June 23, so it’s only a few more days until ‘Yeah Right’ blesses our earholes – and we’re sure that plenty of people will be skipping straight to Track #7. Having already released official remixes with the likes of Freddie Gibbs, M.O.P. and Ghostface Killah on the mic, let’s hope that Flume’s efforts with K.Dot live up to the hype.
