A cinematic affair.

Sydney duo Deuxronin have given us a lot to process with their debut single ‘Kamikaze.’

Consisting of rapper Monix and producer Ra Kitano, Deuxronin isn’t really like anything we’ve seen from our city. The cinematic video for ‘Kamikaze’ features the duo performing on a barren battleground, dressed in black high-fashion ensembles and face masks, with additional flames and apocalyptic footage. The brooding fantasyland is accompanied by assertive raps and booming production, coming to life with a hook consisting only of ad-libs and battle cries.

Part hip-hop, part contemporary ninja and part Magic: The Gathering, ‘Kamikaze’ has certainly caused a stir online – and seeing as Deuxronin have already built a solid following on social media thanks to their brazen aesthetic, we won’t be surprised if their new musical extension furthers their defiant message.
